Battery Ordinance
In the context o the sale of batteries or accumulators we are according to the Battery ordinance (a German law) obligated to point out to you as the end user the following:
You are committed by law return used-up batteries and accumulators. You may return these after use either to us, to a communal collection point or to any point of sale.
Batteries containing contaminants are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out waste container plus the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal responsible for the categorisation as contaminant-laden.
